Full description

We will begin our tour alongside the renowned Unterlinden Museum, one of the most prominent art galleries in France, especially recognized for its focus on Upper Rhine art. In this fascinating place, the Isenheim Altarpiece, a masterpiece from the early 16th century, is housed.

We will continue our visit through the picturesque streets of the center, where we will unveil charming corners and houses dating back to the Renaissance, a period of great significance for the region, highlighting the Pfister House.

In front of the majestic Old Customs House, we will reminisce about Colmar's prosperous past and the unifying role it played in the region during the Middle Ages.

Our tour will culminate in the picturesque neighborhood of Little Venice, where we will delight in the presence of the Lauch River and a magnificent collection of colorful half-timbered houses, creating a scene that seems to have come out of a fairy tale. In this idyllic setting, we will take the opportunity to decipher the symbolism of Alsatian houses and understand the meaning behind their vibrant colors.
